Cruising the City

Take a cruise on beautiful Cold Lake aboard Cap'n Ronn's  25 ft Princecraft tri-toon.  Cap'n Ronn can custom design the perfect cruise to meet your needs.  Some popular options are a short "putt-putt" cruise for a scenic view of the town-site, an extended cruise of the lake, a sunset cruise or a visit to a secluded beach for a picnic ashore.

A Cold Lake Sunset

A favourite of my guests is a one and a half hour cruise that takes you past the Cold Lake Provincial Park, over to Pelican Rocks (where you may see pelicans, cormorants and other aquatic birds), into French Bay to have a look at the Kinosoo Ridge Ski Hill, across the open water to Horseshoe Bay and along the Lakeshore back to the Marina.

Pelican Rocks

If you know someone who is getting married this summer, think about adding a cruise of the lake for the bride and groom to the festivities.  Bring along the photographer for some unique photo opportunities on the water.

A Secluded Beach

Cruises are conducted in an open boat so temperature and wind are important considerations.  Even a light breeze on a mild day will be greatly magnified when the boat is going 40 kilometres per hour.   Cold Lake is a large body of water and conditions can change in minutes.  Dress for the weather, layering is a great idea, a windbreaker and eye protection, such as sunglasses are essential to fully enjoy your cruise.
